Slings manufacturers need to have weight regulations attached to the slings used for lifting heavy pallets. We imprint weight load limits in our leather sling tags for different types of lifts. We use strong tooling cowhide that is 1/8 inch thick. This is a recommended thickness as going thicker can lead to problems when you try to sew it to the thick nylon slings. Our heavy duty pneumatic press with a high heat tempearature setting brands your imprint below the surface of the leather sling tags.
We can do a free layout for you to approve before confirming the order of your imprinted sling tags. If you want your corporate logo to be imprinted, we will need you to email a quality copy of your corporate logo in eps, jpg. or bmp. Vector graphics are the best to work with. Scans must be at 600 dpi black and white line art 1 bit. If you have printed line art, you can snail mail it for us to scan.
Once you confirm the order, we send the layout to a metal manufacturer to have a solid metal imprinting plate engraved. We can use this metal imprinting plate over and over again for years to come. It normally takes about one week to get the plate made and one week for us to make the leather sling tags. Of course once the plate is made, we will always be ready to start your next industrial sling tag order right away.
